A new client with no outbound, and you are there two days a week. Build outbound that runs on the other three.
A fractional CRO or fractional VP Sales can stand up LinkedIn outbound for a client in the first week by connecting their own Claude or ChatGPT to the client GTM Bud account. The campaign sends on its schedule on the days you are with another client, and every reply waits for a review before it is sent. Each client company has its own account. There are no team seats or roles.
The short answer for a fractional sales leader
Yes, you can stand up LinkedIn outbound for a client that has none, in your first week, with two days on site. You connect your own Claude or ChatGPT to the client GTM Bud account, build the campaign in chat, and launch it after you confirm a preview. From then on it sends on its schedule, and replies wait for a review.
This page is for a fractional CRO or fractional VP Sales who serves 2 to 4 B2B companies. It covers outbound that you build for a client. If you want outbound that wins new fractional clients for your own practice, read outbound for fractional executives. If you lead a full-time team of reps, read AI LinkedIn outreach for sales teams.
How the account model works, stated plainly
- One GTM Bud account per client company. The work happens in the client account, not in yours.
- The client team connects the LinkedIn accounts. A founder or seller connects on gtmbud.com, or through an invite link that needs no GTM Bud login.
- Your AI is connected to that account. The connector acts only on the account that was signed in and allowed.
- No team seats or roles. There is one account sign-in. You and the client agree who holds it and who reviews replies.
This is a limit, and it is better to know it on day one than on day twenty.
Three situations this is built for
The new client has no outbound at all. There is no list, no sequence and no owner. You do not need to design a team first. You need one campaign with a clear audience and a checked preview. The day by day version is in the first week outbound plan for a fractional CRO.
The client wants proof in 30 days. You cannot promise a number. You can promise a measured answer: who accepted, who replied, how the replies were labeled, and what you changed. See how to prove outbound works in 30 days.
You have two days a week for this client. Use the client days for decisions: audience, offer, playbook, launch. The sending does not need you. The reply review does need a person, and that is the part to assign.
Five prompts a fractional sales leader can use
- “This is a new client account. Create a campaign draft for fleet managers and equipment managers at commercial construction contractors with 100 to 1,000 employees in the US Southeast. Show me the criteria check first.”
- “Read the seller profile of the draft and tell me what is empty. Then fill it from the company website and the founder LinkedIn profile that I paste below.”
- “Start a prospect preview for the draft. Show me ten real matches with role, company and size, so I can mark them with the founder on our call.”
- “Run the launch readiness check and give me the missing items as two lists: what I can fix in this chat, and what the founder must do on gtmbud.com.”
- “I was away for three days. Read the new replies, label each one, and write answers for the Interested leads with the account playbook. Show me each answer before it goes.”
A worked example: a client with no outbound
The client in this example sells fleet telematics to construction contractors. It has 22 employees and one founder who sells. All names are invented.
The audience sentence. “Fleet managers and equipment managers at commercial construction contractors with 100 to 1,000 employees in the US Southeast.”
What the criteria check said. Company size and industry were clear. The check passed every criterion. The AI then listed the states it would treat as the Southeast and asked for confirmation. It also noted that “fleet manager” is a rare title at smaller contractors, where the same job is often done by an operations manager or an equipment superintendent. The fractional leader added both titles and removed residential builders.
Two previewed prospects.
- Carla M., Equipment Manager at a highway and site work contractor with about 420 employees in Georgia. Marked Good fit: owns the equipment budget, right company type, inside the size range.
- Devin P., Fleet Coordinator at an equipment rental company with 300 employees in Florida. Marked Not a fit: a rental company rents machines to contractors and is not the buyer.
One value offer. “A two week idle time report for ten of your machines, with the fuel cost of the idle hours for each machine.” GTM Bud gave its instructions for value offers, the AI researched the client website and wrote the offer, and GTM Bud checked and saved it.
One reply draft. On a day when the fractional leader was with another client, a lead wrote: “We put trackers on the trucks two years ago. Nobody looks at the data. Why would this be different?” The next morning the AI followed the account playbook (no feature list, one question, offer a call with the founder) and wrote:
“That is the normal result when the data arrives as a dashboard. The idle report is one page per machine, sent to the superintendent who can act on it. Is idle time on site something you are asked about today? If yes, a 20 minute call with Sam, our founder, would be worth it.”
The fractional leader removed “the normal result”, which sounded like a claim about other customers, and approved the answer. GTM Bud then sent it.
The results question. “Give me the results for the Southeast contractor campaign with the as-of time: connection request acceptance and replies by label. I need three sentences for the founder.”
Three objections fractional sales leaders raise
“I need one place where I see all my clients.” GTM Bud does not give you that. Each client is a separate account, and your AI works on one account at a time. The cost is a sign-in per client and the discipline to check which account you are in. The gain is clean ownership: the client keeps the campaigns and the results when your contract ends, and one client never sees data from another.
“It keeps running when I am away, but who answers the leads?” A person, every time. Your AI writes each reply and shows it for review before it is sent, up to 40 replies a day for each LinkedIn account. If nobody reviews on your off days, interested leads wait. Three workable options: you review for ten minutes each morning, the founder reviews on the off days, or you set the campaign to follow-ups only before a long absence. Pick one in week one and write it in the playbook.
“The founder will ask me for a weekly report, and I do not want another manual job.” There is no scheduled report and no report file. You ask your AI for results, and the numbers carry an as-of time. In practice the update is one prompt and a short message that you write. It is honest work and it takes minutes, but it is yours to do.
What stays outside the chat
Connecting each LinkedIn account, choosing the sending accounts for a campaign, and setting the sending schedule are done on gtmbud.com. The 14-day free trial starts when you launch your first campaign. Plan a short call with the founder for these steps, because the LinkedIn account is theirs.
Setup and the full capability list
Setup takes a few minutes: add the connector to your AI with the steps on GTM Bud for Claude or GTM Bud for ChatGPT, and sign in to the client account. Your AI can then build and launch campaigns, show results per campaign, and write replies for review. For everything else the connector can do, see the GTM Bud connector page.
Why outbound feels impossible for small teams
The client hired you to fix sales, and on day one you find that nobody has sent a cold message in the life of the company
The CEO wants proof in 30 days, and your contract gives you eight working days in that month
Everything you start on Tuesday stops on Thursday, because the founder goes back to delivery when you leave the building
You serve three clients, and each one has a different buyer, a different offer and a different person who will answer leads
The founder will not hire an SDR until outbound has shown a sign of life, and outbound cannot show one with no person to run it
That's exactly why we built GTM Bud.
How GTM Bud helps
Outbound that does not depend on your calendar
You build the campaign with your AI on a client day. After launch it sends on the schedule that is set on gtmbud.com, so Wednesday looks the same as Tuesday.
The first week has a real output
A campaign draft with its audience and seller profile, previewed prospects, value offers and a message sequence are prepared in chat. A launch readiness check lists what is missing before you ask the founder for a decision.
The client owns the asset
The campaign, the reply playbook and the results stay in the client account. When your engagement ends, the outbound does not leave with you.
How GTM Bud works
We find your ideal clients
Tell us who you want to reach. We build a list of best-fit leads matched to your ideal client profile using real activity signals, not just job titles.
Our proven system runs the campaign
Built from the playbook that booked 7,000+ meetings at our parent agency. Every sequence, timing, and touchpoint is battle-tested.
Connect your accounts and go
Link your LinkedIn and email. We handle the multi-channel sequence: connection requests, DMs, emails, all timed and spaced so nothing feels spammy.
Most tools hand you a database and wish you luck. GTM Bud gives you the leads, the messages, and the strategy. You just show up and close.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, for the campaign work. Your AI builds the campaign in the client GTM Bud account and writes replies from a playbook. A person still reviews every reply before it is sent, so agree on day one who does that review on the days you are not there.
Yes. Each client company has its own GTM Bud account, with its own LinkedIn sender accounts, campaigns and reply playbook. Your AI works on the one account that was signed in and allowed, so check which client account you are in before you ask for anything.
No. GTM Bud has no team seats and no roles. One account sign-in controls the account, and you and the client agree who holds it. A person at the client can connect a LinkedIn account through an invite link without a GTM Bud login.
A LinkedIn account from the client team, normally the founder or a seller. That person connects it on gtmbud.com or through an invite link. GTM Bud focuses on Sales Navigator accounts. Your own LinkedIn account does not need to be a sender for the client.
They wait. The campaign keeps sending on its schedule, and each lead reply stays in the list until a person signed in to the client account reviews an answer. Many fractional leaders do a short review each morning, or the founder does it on the off days.
No. GTM Bud does not send scheduled reports. You ask your AI for the results of each campaign when you need them, the numbers carry an as-of time, and you write the update for the client yourself.
