Stop pasting ChatGPT drafts into LinkedIn

You already write your outreach in ChatGPT. Add GTM Bud by URL as a custom MCP server and the same chat turns an audience description into a campaign, prepares answers to the people who write back, and reports how it all went.

The copy and paste loop, and how it ends

Most people who use ChatGPT for outbound work the same way. One tab holds a long chat or a custom GPT that knows the offer and the tone. Another tab holds LinkedIn. Every message travels between the two by clipboard, one prospect at a time, and the chat never learns what happened next.

GTM Bud closes that gap. Once the connector is on, the chat that writes the message can also save it into a campaign, find the people who should receive it, and read what they write back.

Connect it in about two minutes

GTM Bud is not listed in the ChatGPT app directory yet. You add it by URL.

  1. Open the ChatGPT Plugins page at chatgpt.com/plugins.
  2. Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Enter a name such as GTM Bud, and under Connection paste https://gtmbud.com/mcp.
  4. Keep OAuth as the sign-in method, read the warning, and select I understand and want to continue.
  5. Select Create as a plugin. A connect window from GTM Bud appears. Sign in there. No account yet? Create one right in that window.
  6. Press Allow.
  7. Start a fresh chat, type @ and pick GTM Bud, then type a request.

ChatGPT moves its menus from time to time. If a name above differs from what you see, the OpenAI page on connecting an MCP server to ChatGPT shows the current path.

If an admin runs your ChatGPT workspace

In a company workspace, members often cannot add a custom MCP server themselves. The admin controls that. Send your admin two facts: the connector URL is https://gtmbud.com/mcp, and each member signs in with a personal GTM Bud login and presses Allow before anything is shared with ChatGPT.

Bring your custom GPT habits with you

A custom GPT for outreach usually stores three things: who you are, who you sell to, and how you like to sound. Each has a place in GTM Bud.

Things to type on day one

  • “I sell bookkeeping services to dental practices. Turn that into a GTM Bud campaign draft and tell me what the criteria check says.”
  • “List some real prospects that match this draft. I will tell you which are a Good fit and which are Not a fit.”
  • “Here is the connection note I normally paste into LinkedIn. Rework it into a full message sequence and save it to the campaign.”
  • “Who wrote back since yesterday? Sort them into Interested, Warm and Not interested, then prepare an answer for the Interested ones.”
  • “Is my campaign ready to go live? Tell me what is still missing.”
  • “Compare my two active campaigns and tell me which audience answers more often.”

What the connector covers

  • Build: a campaign draft from your audience description, a prospect preview, a seller profile for that draft, value offers and the message sequence.
  • Run: a launch readiness check, a launch once you accept the preview, and later changes to the sending mode, lead finding, or ending a campaign.
  • Answer and learn: lead replies with labels, prepared answers that you send, and campaign results.

The complete tool list, the limits and the privacy summary are on the GTM Bud connector page. If you work in Claude, read GTM Bud for Claude. For a terminal or an editor, read GTM Bud for coding agents.

Where you stay in charge

The reply flow puts your eyes ahead of every send. ChatGPT hands you each prepared answer, GTM Bud directs it to send only wording that you accepted, and one LinkedIn account sends at most 40 answers in a day. A campaign goes live after you accept its preview, and so does any later change that would start sending.

Some jobs belong on gtmbud.com and not in the chat: linking LinkedIn accounts, deciding which of them send, and setting the hours they send in. The 14-day free trial starts when your first campaign goes live.

To disconnect, remove GTM Bud on the ChatGPT Plugins page, or open Settings in GTM Bud and remove ChatGPT under Connected AI apps.

Why outbound feels impossible for small teams

You draft a connection note in ChatGPT, copy it, open LinkedIn, paste it, and repeat for every prospect on your list

Your best outreach prompt sits in a custom GPT that can write a message but cannot deliver it to anyone

When a prospect writes back, you paste the thread into ChatGPT to get an answer, then paste the answer back into LinkedIn

ChatGPT has no idea which of last week's messages got a response, so each new draft starts from zero

That's exactly why we built GTM Bud.

How GTM Bud helps

The draft becomes the campaign

Tell ChatGPT who you sell to and what you offer. It writes the value offers and the message sequence, and GTM Bud checks and saves them into a campaign, so nothing is copied by hand.

See the people before the messages go out

An audience description becomes a campaign draft with a criteria check. ChatGPT then lists real matching prospects for you to mark Good fit or Not a fit.

Answers that wait for your send

ChatGPT reads what leads wrote, labels it Interested, Warm or Not interested, and writes an answer along your reply playbooks. ChatGPT puts the answer in the chat, where you read it, edit it and send it.

A chat that knows what happened

Ask which campaign brought the most conversations and ChatGPT pulls the numbers from GTM Bud. The next draft starts from evidence.

How GTM Bud works

1

We find your ideal clients

Tell us who you want to reach. We build a list of best-fit leads matched to your ideal client profile using real activity signals, not just job titles.

2

Our proven system runs the campaign

Built from the playbook that booked 7,000+ meetings at our parent agency. Every sequence, timing, and touchpoint is battle-tested.

3

Connect your accounts and go

Link your LinkedIn and email. We handle the multi-channel sequence: connection requests, DMs, emails, all timed and spaced so nothing feels spammy.

Most tools hand you a database and wish you luck. GTM Bud gives you the leads, the messages, and the strategy. You just show up and close.
