You run delivery and you are the sales team. Keep your own pipeline moving in an hour a week.

The owner of a 5 to 30 person agency can keep new business moving without a sales hire by running LinkedIn outreach for the agency itself from Claude or ChatGPT. You describe the clients you want in one sentence, check real prospects before anything is sent, and review each reply that your AI writes. The weekly work is about an hour, and the first setup takes longer.

The short answer for an agency owner

You can keep your agency’s own pipeline moving in about an hour a week if the outreach runs between your sessions and your AI prepares the work that you approve. With GTM Bud, you describe the clients you want in one sentence from Claude or ChatGPT, check real prospects before launch, and review each reply before it is sent.

This page is for the owner of a marketing, design or development agency with 5 to 30 people who is also the main salesperson. It is about the agency’s own growth. If you want to run outreach for your clients, read white label LinkedIn outreach for agencies. This page is not written for a solo freelancer or for an agency with a full sales team.

The hour is our estimate for a normal week after setup. The first session, where you build the campaign, takes longer.

Three situations this is built for

The biggest client just left. You have a notice period and a revenue gap with a date on it. The useful move this week is to describe your best past clients in one sentence and get a campaign in front of people like them while the retainer still pays.

The pipeline goes empty between retainers. Projects end, and the next one starts only after you go looking. A campaign that already runs means the looking started weeks before the retainer ended.

New business happens only when delivery is quiet. That gives you leads when you cannot take them and silence when you can. The fix is not more effort in quiet weeks. It is a small, fixed task in every week, with the sending handled between sessions.

Five prompts an agency owner can use

  • “Create a campaign draft for heads of ecommerce at direct-to-consumer brands with 20 to 200 employees in the UK that sell through their own online store. Show me the criteria check first.”
  • “Read my agency website and my LinkedIn profile, set the seller profile of this campaign, and tell me in two sentences who you think we sell to.”
  • “Write three value offers for that campaign. Each one must be something my team already delivers in a first week with a new client. No free strategy calls.”
  • “Save this as my account reply playbook: we do not quote in chat, we do not take projects below a two month scope, and every Interested lead is offered a 25 minute call with me.”
  • “It is Friday. Give me the results for each campaign with the as-of time, then show me the replies that still wait for my review, Interested first.”

A worked example: one campaign for a development agency

The agency in this example has 14 people and builds and maintains online stores. The owner sells every project. The names below are invented.

The audience sentence. “Heads of ecommerce and founders at direct-to-consumer brands with 20 to 200 employees in the UK that sell through their own online store.”

What the criteria check said. The check passed every criterion. The AI then asked two questions before the preview. First, should co-founders with a technical title count as “founders” at 20 to 200 employees? The owner said yes. Second, the AI noted that “direct-to-consumer brands” could also match companies that sell software or services to those brands, and asked if they should be excluded. They should, so the sentence gained “not agencies, app makers or other suppliers to ecommerce brands”.

Two previewed prospects.

  • Priya S., Head of Ecommerce at a skincare brand with about 60 employees in Manchester. Marked Good fit: owns the store, right size, a brand and not a supplier.
  • Owen L., Founder of a four person studio in London that builds store apps. Marked Not a fit: he sells to the same brands the agency wants, and the company is below the size range.

One value offer. “A recorded ten minute teardown of your mobile checkout, with the three changes we would make first and why.” The agency already makes this teardown in week one of every engagement. GTM Bud gave its instructions for value offers, the AI researched the agency website and wrote the offer, and GTM Bud checked and saved it.

One reply draft. A lead wrote: “We have an in-house developer. What would an agency add?” The AI followed the playbook (no quote, no pitch against the in-house person, offer the call) and wrote:

“Priya, often nothing replaces a good in-house developer. Where we help is the work that person has no time for, such as a checkout rebuild with a fixed end date. Would a 25 minute call be useful? I can show the teardown of your checkout on it.”

The owner removed the first sentence, which sounded like an apology, and approved the rest. The AI then sent that exact text.

The results question. “For the UK brands campaign, how many replies are Interested and how many are Warm as of now, and which Interested leads have no answer from me yet?”

Three objections agency owners raise

“An hour a week is what every tool says.” Be suspicious of it. The hour is an estimate for a week with a normal number of replies, and it covers three jobs: results, reply review and targeting. It does not cover the first build of a campaign, and it does not cover the sales calls that come from it. Each LinkedIn account can send up to 40 reviewed replies a day, so a week with many replies costs more than an hour. That is a good problem, but it is still your time.

“I already have a list of past leads and lapsed proposals. Can I load it?” Not through the connector. It does not take a list upload. You give the audience as a description, GTM Bud checks the criteria and finds matching people, and you check the match in a preview. You gain a steady supply of new prospects. You lose control of the exact names, so contact your lapsed proposals yourself, by hand.

“If someone on my team should handle the replies, can I give them a login?” This page describes one GTM Bud account that you sign in to and run. It does not promise seats or roles for your team. In practice the review stays with the owner, which is correct for the first months: you are the person who knows which projects to decline. One GTM Bud account can hold several LinkedIn sender accounts, so a partner’s LinkedIn account can send for a campaign, but the person signed in still does the review.

What stays outside the chat

Connecting your LinkedIn account, choosing the sending account for a campaign, and setting the sending schedule are done on gtmbud.com. The 14-day free trial starts when you launch your first campaign. GTM Bud does not send you a scheduled report. You ask your AI for the numbers when you sit down for the weekly hour.

Where this fits with our other agency pages

If you want the wider case for outbound in your type of agency, read outbound for marketing agencies, outbound for design agencies or outbound for web development agencies. This page covers one narrower thing: an owner who runs the agency’s own outreach from an AI assistant.

Setup and the full capability list

Setup takes a few minutes: add the connector to Claude with the steps on GTM Bud for Claude, or to ChatGPT with the steps on GTM Bud for ChatGPT. In short, your AI can build a campaign from an audience sentence, launch it after you confirm, show results per campaign, and write replies for your review. For everything else, see the GTM Bud connector page.

Why outbound feels impossible for small teams

Your biggest client gave notice, and the last time you looked for a new client was the month before they signed

A retainer ends in six weeks and nothing is lined up after it, because every proposal you have out came from one referral partner

New business happens only in the weeks when delivery is quiet, so your pipeline is full when you have no capacity and empty when you do

You are the only person who can sell the work, and you are also the person the team asks when a project goes wrong

You tried outreach twice, each time for ten days, and each time a client deadline ended it before a single conversation started

That's exactly why we built GTM Bud.

How GTM Bud helps

New business that does not wait for a quiet week

A launched campaign keeps finding prospects and sending on the schedule you set, in the weeks when a launch or a deadline takes all your attention. Your part is the review.

Your delivery work becomes the offer

Your AI reads your website and your LinkedIn profile, then writes value offers from work your team really does, such as a teardown or an audit. GTM Bud checks and saves them.

Replies in your voice, with your rules

Write a reply playbook once: when to offer a call, what to say about budget, which projects you decline. Your AI follows it and shows you each reply for review before it sends.

How GTM Bud works

1

We find your ideal clients

Tell us who you want to reach. We build a list of best-fit leads matched to your ideal client profile using real activity signals, not just job titles.

2

Our proven system runs the campaign

Built from the playbook that booked 7,000+ meetings at our parent agency. Every sequence, timing, and touchpoint is battle-tested.

3

Connect your accounts and go

Link your LinkedIn and email. We handle the multi-channel sequence: connection requests, DMs, emails, all timed and spaced so nothing feels spammy.

Most tools hand you a database and wish you luck. GTM Bud gives you the leads, the messages, and the strategy. You just show up and close.
