Before a connection request goes out, your account now views the lead’s profile and likes their newest post from the last 90 days. The lead sees both, and the like shows in your LinkedIn activity. A lead with no recent post gets the profile view only.
The result so far is early. In an early test, leads who got a like accepted about 6 points more often and replied with interest about 3x more often. We keep measuring, so half of your leads skip the step.
Your sending does not change. Connection requests go out at the same pace, and the step uses your account’s existing daily limits.
It is on by default for every LinkedIn account. To turn it off for one account, open the Accounts page and change it under that account’s limits.
